ART MASTER Research in musicology

The first year of the Master (M1) prepares by the game of options, the definition of a research theme and the possible choice of an internship, both to a second year in "Master Music and Musicology" with research focus, and to a second year in Master "Administration and Management of Music" or Master "Director in Computer Music" for professional purposes. Methodology and language courses, a professional integration module and an internship as well as the follow-up of seminars are the common activities to all M1 students. Each student benefits, for his research project, from the regular and personalized supervision of a teacher-researcher.
The fields represented are those of Western scholarly music – from the Middle Ages to the present day –, electrodigital music, ethnomusicology, contemporary music and jazz.
