“Parlons ARTS” certification

Summary

Objectives

The first objective of this training is to strengthen the artistic and cultural knowledge of students by giving them access to a varied multidisciplinary cultural program, particularly in the field of performing arts and heritage. It also wishes to encourage the development of critical, argumentative and editorial skills through analyzes of these cultural events with the assistance of a dedicated teacher. The diversity of the events as well as that of the cultural places in which they take place also allow us to reflect on the intersecting notions of creation, conservation and cultural policies.

This training is backed by the learning of a current discursive method: the podcast. The objective is to report on visits and cultural events through radio writing. Alone or in pairs, students will be invited to think about and record a short radio format (interviews with artists, actors, cultural chronicles, etc.). These podcasts, which can be placed on the ARTS Institute platform, will also provide publicity for student work.

Four educational objectives:

  • Artistic knowledge by attending a selection of artistic and cultural events offered by the region’s cultural institutions (live shows, heritage sites, etc.) which are presented and commented on by a teacher and/or a professional.
  • Critical and argumentative skills by carrying out joint analysis and reflection work.
  • Writing and mediation skills that can be useful in many employment situations.
  • Learning an innovative mode of expression: the podcast.
